Night shifts only: 7 on, 7 off rota, shifts between 7pm-6.30am or 8.30pm-6.30am. 24-hour hospital position.
This is a night shift position at PetMedics Worsley, a large RCVS-accredited 24-hour small animal veterinary hospital and advanced clinical services centre. You'll work an annualised hours contract on a 7 on, 7 off rotating pattern with shifts between 7pm-6.30am or 8.30pm-6.30am, giving you genuine recovery time between blocks.
You'll be part of a friendly, welcoming and supportive clinical team of 37 veterinary surgeons, 41 nurses, and supporting PCAs, receptionists and administrative staff. The hospital is spacious and well equipped with modern facilities including 4 theatres, 6 consulting rooms, intensive care ward, separate cat and dog wards, exotics ward, isolation ward, digital X-ray, CT scanner, multiple ultrasound machines, endoscopy, laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation and extensive in-house laboratory.
No two days will be the same. You'll deliver exceptional care to patients and their owners, support all aspects of clinical nursing work, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a positive team culture. The hospital holds GOLD status as a Cat Friendly Clinic and SILVER Rabbit Friendly status.
