
A structured 4 week ICU rota, up to £35,000 DOE and a referral hospital setting make this a distinctive RVN opportunity in Bristol. You'll be joining the ICU team at Bristol Vet Specialists, with both twilight and night shifts built into the pattern.
4 week rota with 5 x 10.5 hour twilights, 16:00 to 02:30, Monday to Friday in Week 1; 7 x 12.5 hour nights, 20:00 to 08:30, Monday to Sunday in Week 2; Weeks 3 and 4 off for recovery.
This ICU RVN role is based at Bristol Vet Specialists and focuses on inpatient and emergency and critical care work within the hospital’s ICU. The rota follows a 4 week pattern, with 5 twilight shifts in Week 1, 7 night shifts in Week 2, then 7 days off for recovery in Weeks 3 and 4.
You’ll be caring for a varied caseload alongside the specialist team, with the role described as ideal for an RVN who has prior referral hospital experience and the confidence to manage intensive cases. Bristol Vet Specialists is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital, and the setting includes overnight support from a general wards nurse, a second ICU nurse, one of the rotating interns, and specialists and RVNs on call if needed.
