No out-of-hours or weekend duties. Fixed daytime hours only: 9am-6pm, two days per week.
This is a 12-month maternity cover position with Vet Oracle Telemedicine, a vet-to-vet advice service within CVS Veterinary Group. You'll work from home on two fixed days per week (choose from Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday) between 9am and 6pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. There are no weekend or out-of-hours duties. The role begins in October 2026.
Vet Oracle provides thorough, evidence-based clinical advice to CVS vets in practice, with the support of a team of Registered Veterinary Nurse case managers. You'll mentor and educate vets to help them understand their cases and develop confidence in their own clinical decision-making. The team communicates throughout the day via instant messaging and video calls, ensuring strong team cohesion despite remote working. The service was recently awarded the CVS colleague award for "Outstanding contribution to Clinical Care Improvement" within the business.
Hybrid arrangements are welcomed for candidates with their own caseload elsewhere, allowing you to see your own patients for part of the week and contribute to the telemedicine service for the remainder. Contractor agreements are available for non-UK based Diplomates.
Note: Individuals on contractor agreements are not eligible for the benefits package listed above.
