Newport Veterinary Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and caring veterinary surgeon to join their dedicated team on the Isle of Wight. This role operates on a distinctive 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rota, working shifts between 8am and 8pm during your working weeks. You'll have the opportunity to expand your clinical skill set, with a particular welcome for those with surgical experience, surgical bias, or exotic interests.
The Isle of Wight location offers beautiful countryside, beach walks, historic landmarks, and local produce and eateries. The team works collaboratively across a veterinary hospital and three island branches, contributing to clinical excellence projects, regular case reviews, and dedicated in-house CPD days.
CVS Veterinary Group operates an RCVS accredited hospital on the Isle of Wight with five consulting rooms, two surgery suites, in-house laboratory, ultrasound scanner, digital and dental X-rays, CT scanner, and endoscopy. Three supporting branch practices across the island each host three to four consulting rooms, theatres, in-house labs, and imaging suites, with overnight patient care managed by the dedicated OOH team at the main hospital.
