About the Role

This is a dedicated night-shift position at a thriving, independently-owned 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital in South West London. You’ll work a fixed 7-on-14-off rota—a schedule specifically designed to deliver genuine downtime and work-life balance without compromise. The hospital is award-winning, busy, and genuinely buzzing; you’ll be part of a brilliant team of veterinary clinicians who are passionate about both animal care and supporting their colleagues.

The role comes with genuine perks: accommodation is available if needed, unlimited online CPD support through Central, full certificate allowances, and the practice will support visa applications and employment transfer agreements where applicable. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency and critical care assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for presenting cases throughout night shifts
  • Work as part of a collaborative team of veterinary surgeons in a dedicated ECC hospital setting
  • Deliver high-standard clinical care aligned with the practice’s commitment to compassionate animal care
  • Contribute to the supportive, vet-led culture that underpins the team’s success

Requirements

  • Qualified veterinary surgeon (RCVS registered)
  • Experience or strong interest in emergency and critical care preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced hospital environment
  • Strong clinical judgement and collaborative approach to teamwork
