Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

You’ll be joining DNA Vetcare’s Surrey branches as a full-time veterinary surgeon, working across their practices on a 4-day week basis. This role is perfect if you have a surgical bias—the team sees a strong orthopaedic caseload alongside excellent general medicine cases, with busy clinics providing real variety and clinical challenge.

The practices are equipped with fantastic in-house laboratory facilities and continuously evolving equipment, giving you excellent diagnostic and surgical resources. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where most vets are pursuing or planning to pursue specialist certificates, creating a culture of ongoing professional development. The surgeries are situated in really pleasant areas with good local amenities and proximity to London and Kent.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and medical care across DNA Vetcare’s Surrey branch network
• Manage a diverse caseload including orthopaedic surgery, general medicine, and busy clinic work
• Utilise the practice’s in-house laboratory and advanced equipment for diagnosis and treatment
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative clinical environment with experienced colleagues
• Pursue professional development and specialist qualifications with practice support

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (MRCVS or equivalent)
• Surgical interest and experience desirable
• Motivated to develop specialist knowledge and certifications
