About the Practice

DNA Vetcare is a proudly independent, multi-award-winning group of veterinary surgeries founded in 2006 by veterinary surgeons Alan van Heerden and Dane Walker. Building on their combined experience across numerous high-quality practices, they’ve established a network of exceptional clinicians handpicked for their clinical skills and compassionate approach. Claire Baker joined as a Director in 2019, bringing operational expertise and leading the group’s vet team recruitment.

The Sussex/Surrey location combines modern facilities with a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing. The practice invests heavily in equipment and expertise—from advanced imaging and surgical towers to a collaborative culture where specialists actively support less-experienced team members. DNA Vetcare’s reputation rests on delivering exceptional care to pets and owners, built on a foundation of clinical excellence and a strong team ethos.
