This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative small animal practice in Tranent, East Lothian. With no out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities, you'll have genuine flexibility to balance your career with life outside the clinic. The role suits vets who have completed their VetGDP and are confident managing routine medical and surgical cases, with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
Located just 10 miles from Edinburgh, the practice sits within easy reach of the city, the beautiful East Lothian coastline, and the surrounding countryside. You'll work alongside a friendly team of seven vets, supported by six Registered Veterinary Nurses and an experienced Practice Manager. Within the team, one vet holds a certificate in small animal surgery and another is pursuing an ophthalmology certificate, reflecting the practice's commitment to developing clinical expertise.
