About the Role

Easipetcare Dartford is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its clinical team on a full-time basis. Situated in the heart of Dartford with excellent transport links and free on-site parking, the practice offers the perfect balance of accessibility to central London and Kent whilst retaining local community charm and green spaces nearby.

You’ll work 40 hours across 4 or 5 days per week, with participation in a 1:3 Saturday rota where time is given back in lieu. This role sits within IVC Evidensia, the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group, which is committed to supporting staff development, wellbeing, and meaningful career progression at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of inpatient and surgical nursing care across the practice caseload
  • Assist with anaesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
  • Support veterinary consultations and deliver your own nurse clinics
  • Provide exceptional client care and education on animal health and husbandry
  • Maintain rigorous hygiene and infection control standards in line with practice protocols
  • Mentor and support Student Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team to uphold clinical excellence

Requirements

  • Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse (essential)
  • Practical experience working in clinical small animal practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
  • Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous professional development
  • Team-focused mindset with enthusiasm for delivering high standards of care
