This is an exciting opportunity to join Eastcott Veterinary Hospital’s Emergency and Critical Care team as an experienced ECC Veterinarian. You’ll work a mixture of day and night shifts on a 5 days on, 5 days off and 5 nights on, 10 days off rota—designed to give you genuine extended time away from work. Your days will be spent in a dynamic, collaborative clinical setting; your nights will involve critical case management alongside experienced night nurses and rotating interns, with on-call support from referral specialists.
Based in Swindon, Eastcott is a Tier 3, ISFM Gold Status multidisciplinary referral hospital with a purpose-built ICU at its heart. You’ll be part of a team that handles referral and primary care emergency cases, gaining exposure to complex, varied caseloads in a well-resourced environment that encourages clinical development and peer learning.
Beyond the clinical work, the culture here extends beyond the ward. You’ll have opportunities to get involved in mentoring recent graduates, contributing to clinical development initiatives, supporting the Green Team, or helping organise social events—all part of a thriving workplace community.
