Eastcott Veterinary Referrals
Apply before: May 6, 2026
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover equal family leave within the surgical team at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals. Working part-time at 2 days per week, you’ll have flexibility whilst engaging with one of the region’s most respected referral practices. The role is perfect for a board-certified surgeon (ECVS/ACVS preferred, or completion of accredited residency) looking for meaningful specialist work without full-time commitment.
Eastcott Referrals recently underwent major refurbishment and now boasts state-of-the-art facilities including full minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and interventional radiology capabilities. You’ll work alongside an incredibly talented team of specialist surgeons and colleagues in anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, DOMFS, neurology, cardiology and ophthalmology. The caseload is excellent, diverse and genuinely interesting—including a well-established total hip replacement programme where you may mentor other surgeons through Biomedtrix accreditation.
Eastcott Veterinary Referrals is a tier 3, ISFM Gold Status multidisciplinary veterinary hospital renowned for providing extremely high standards of patient care. Recently extended and refurbished, the hospital now features cutting-edge facilities and equipment, supported by the resources of the Linnaeus Group and Mars Petcare. The team is dynamic, motivated and committed to professional development. The hospital encourages staff to undertake further training and provides a genuinely friendly and supportive environment where teams can flourish and enjoy their work.
