About the Role

Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their progressive, independent 24-hour practice in the heart of Belgravia, Central London. This is a dedicated ECC night position with an exceptional rota: 7 nights on, 14 nights off—designed to give you genuine work-life balance whilst staying engaged with challenging emergency cases.

You’ll be working at one of London’s most established and respected independent practices, where cutting-edge technology meets compassionate care. The clinic has built its reputation on gold-standard treatment for a loyal, insured clientele, and you’d be part of a team that truly collaborates and shares knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage emergency and critical care cases during night shifts, with confidence in sole charge responsibilities
• Perform emergency surgery and diagnostic procedures as required
• Utilise advanced imaging (CT scanner, upcoming MRI addition) and full in-house laboratory facilities
• Provide exceptional patient and client care in line with the clinic’s high standards
• Work collaboratively with experienced Certificate Holders and fellow practitioners
• Contribute to a supportive, knowledge-sharing team environment

Requirements

• Veterinary Surgeon with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience
• Proven confidence in handling emergency cases and sole charge surgery
• Professional approach with genuine passion for ECC work
• Commitment to exceptional client and patient care
• Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous learning
