Moy Vets Norcross Lane is part of IVC Evidensia, the UK and Europe's leading veterinary care group comprising over 900 practices and referral hospitals united by a shared purpose of happier animals and happier owners. The practice itself was established in 1999 when local vets Mark and Michelle Lingard took over the Animal Medical Centre on Hillylaid Road in Thornton, which became Moy Vets Thornton. The Norcross Lane site was originally Norcross Vets, a purpose-built premises that grew from its previous location on Blackpool Old Road. Both practices joined IVC Evidensia several years ago and merged in November 2023 to form Moy Vets Norcross and Moy Vets Hambleton.
The practice maintains its founding ethos of treating patients and owners with respect, compassion, and understanding. The team is the greatest asset, with regular training and weekly meetings to discuss updates and ensure the highest quality of care. Facilities include cutting-edge equipment and advanced monitoring technology, alongside established nurse clinics, K-laser therapy capabilities, and exciting plans to expand nurse-led Schedule 3 operations days.
