You'll join Newport Veterinary Hospital as part of CVS Veterinary Group, working a unique 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rota pattern. During your working weeks, shifts run between 8am and 8pm. This role welcomes applications from all clinical interests, with particular enthusiasm for candidates with surgical experience, surgical bias, or exotics background.
The Isle of Wight offers stunning countryside, beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, and a thriving local food scene. You'll be working within a collaborative hub consisting of a dedicated Veterinary Hospital and three branches across the island, all contributing to a supportive clinical environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth.
Newport Veterinary Hospital is part of CVS Veterinary Group and operates an RCVS accredited facility on the Isle of Wight. The main hospital houses five consult rooms, two surgery suites, in-house lab, ultrasound scanner, digital and dental x-rays, CT scanner, and endoscopy. The three branch practices each have three to four consult rooms, theatre, in-house labs, and imaging suites. Branch patients requiring overnight care are transferred to the main hospital where a dedicated OOH team provides afterhours support.
