Veterinary Receptionist

About the Role

This part-time receptionist position offers the perfect opportunity to join an established and welcoming practice in central Hitchin, just a five-minute walk from the mainline railway station. Working Thursday and Friday mornings (8am to 2pm, with 1pm finish potentially available), plus occasional Saturday mornings, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, creating a positive and professional experience at every interaction.

The team at Berry House Vets is experienced and long-standing, committed to supporting your induction and development. This front-of-house role focuses on client communication rather than animal handling, making it ideal for someone who thrives in customer-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients with a warm, friendly and professional manner
• Manage appointments and handle client enquiries efficiently
• Support client communications and coordinate with clinical and non-clinical colleagues
• Ensure smooth practice operations by managing multiple tasks in a busy environment
• Contribute to a positive client and patient journey throughout the practice
