No out-of-hours or overnight on-call. Saturday rota only: one in four, 8am to 12pm.
This full-time or part-time position offers a refreshing approach to small animal practice. Based primarily at the Godalming clinic, you'll work a four-day week within opening hours of 8:30am to 6:30pm, with a manageable Saturday rota of one in four (8am to 12pm only). Crucially, there are no out-of-hours or overnight on-call requirements, making this an ideal role for vets seeking genuine work-life balance without compromising clinical variety.
You'll be joining a large, experienced, and genuinely friendly team of 10 veterinary surgeons, 9 qualified veterinary nurses, and 13 support colleagues. Many team members have been with the practice for years, creating a stable, supportive culture where people pitch in for one another. The practice spans four sites across Godalming, Farnham, Chiddingfold, and Beacon Hill in beautiful Surrey countryside and characterful market towns, though you'll spend most of your time at the main Godalming clinic with occasional variety across other branches.
You'll deliver high-standard patient and client care across a varied caseload, continuing to develop your clinical skills and interests while supporting colleagues' development. Whether your interests lean towards surgery, medicine, or a blend of both, the practice offers genuine progression pathways and exposure to cases that build your confidence.
