About the Role

This fixed-term maternity cover position offers a fantastic opportunity to join Tower Veterinary Centre's friendly and experienced clinical team. You'll enjoy a balanced mix of consulting and surgery across a varied first-opinion caseload, from routine preventative healthcare to more complex medical and surgical cases. The role is structured around a flexible 40-hour week across 4.5 days, with shifts between 8:30am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am to 1pm).

Based in Perth's heart, you'll have access to modern diagnostic equipment including digital radiography with AI support, ultrasound, and dental radiography. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied small animal caseload
• Manage a balanced mix of consultations, diagnostics, medical workups, and surgical procedures
• Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and continuity of care
• Work collaboratively with 5 full-time vets, 3 part-time vets, experienced RVNs, Animal Care Assistants, and reception staff
• Contribute to clinical discussions, case reviews, and shared learning culture
• Support high standards of patient care and clinical excellence throughout the practice

Requirements

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligible to register)
• Confidence in consultations and routine surgical procedures appropriate to your experience level
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
• Collaborative approach to teamwork and case management
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing your clinical skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care
