Kirks Vets is recruiting a dedicated first opinion vet to work from its Sleaford practice as part of a wider team across two busy sites. The role covers a varied medical and surgical caseload, with the successful candidate working alongside eight other vets in a supportive, positive environment.
The standard pattern is four days a week with 10.5 hour days, although a flexible shift pattern can be agreed. Weekend cover is 1:5 and there are no out of hours, giving the role a clear structure while still offering plenty of day to day clinical variety.
Sleaford offers a country setting with links to Lincoln and train connections to London, so the location will suit someone who wants a calmer base without losing access to city life.
Kirks Vets is part of inspiring vet care, which is described in the advert as the UK’s number one vet care provider and trusted with the care of over 2 million animals. The practice is based in Sleaford and also has a site in Grantham.

The practice also works closely with the RSPCA, CP and local wildlife and small animal charities.
