Eastcott Referrals, an RCVS accredited multidisciplinary referral hospital in Swindon, is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to rotate through a diverse range of specialist departments. You'll work across medicine, anaesthesia, imaging, dentistry, neurology, ophthalmology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, wards, and emergency critical care, spending approximately two weeks in each department. This permanent, full-time position offers 40 hours per week across four 10-hour days, with a 1 in 8 weekend rota and corresponding days off the following week.
You'll be exposed to a wide variety of interesting and challenging cases, developing your nursing expertise alongside specialist clinicians, fellow RVNs, residents and interns. The hospital's expanding referral caseload ensures constant learning opportunities. While experience in a hospital or referral setting is desirable, it is not essential; the practice is committed to providing comprehensive training plans and mentorship to help you thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.
