Village Vet St Albans is a well-established 24-hour emergency clinic and small animal hospital, part of Linnaeus and Mars Veterinary Health. This Night RVN position offers hands-on emergency and critical care nursing with a varied, stimulating caseload far beyond routine overnight monitoring. You'll work a 4 nights on, 8 nights off rolling rota, providing extended time off between blocks while maintaining exposure to genuine emergency cases. Accommodation is provided during your working night block, offering practical support and convenience.
The hospital is fully equipped with diagnostic facilities, on-site laboratory, separate cat and dog wards, theatre suite, and 24-hour inpatient care provision. You'll be part of a structured, professional night service supporting multiple practices across Hertfordshire, working as a Tier 2/3 RVN alongside the Veterinary Surgeon to manage overnight and urgent care patients.
