Registered Veterinary Nurse – Part-time (FTC – Maternity Cover)

About the Role

You’ll be joining Lynwood Vets’ Bournemouth branch as a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a part-time position—30 hours per week plus Saturday work on a rota basis—giving you flexibility alongside a practice that genuinely values its team. The branch is modern and well-equipped, and the whole practice operates with a strong ethos of teamwork, professional development, and clinical excellence.

Located in Winton, near the coast and New Forest, you’ll have easy access to beautiful countryside whilst staying connected to local towns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across small animal cases at the Bournemouth branch
• Work collaboratively with the existing veterinary team
• Contribute to the practice’s high standards of clinical care and animal welfare
• Participate in Saturday rotas as scheduled
• Support professional development and training within the practice

Requirements

• RCVS registered as a Veterinary Nurse
• Right to work in the UK
• Passionate commitment to veterinary nursing
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Full, clean driving licence
