About the Role

You’ll be joining Medivet Oakengates as a Veterinary Surgeon in a friendly, supportive practice built around collaboration and continuous learning. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays—predictable scheduling that respects your time outside work.

The team here is tight-knit: a Branch Partner (Duncan), a nursing team of 4 including a Head RVN (Sam), and a receptionist who keep things running smoothly. Based in Oakengates, you’re well-positioned for life outside work—Telford’s South Water development offers excellent shopping, dining, and nightlife, and Liverpool airport is just 40 minutes away for easy getaways.

What sets this role apart is your access to Medivet’s five clinical communities: Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, and Exotics. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard clinical care in consultations and surgery, maintaining regulatory and practice compliance
• Develop tailored treatment plans working closely with clients
• Collaborate within the supportive team at Oakengates
• Contribute to Medivet’s clinical communities, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues’ professional development

Requirements

• Qualified MRCVS
