About the Role

This is a partnership opportunity at Medivet Cowbridge, a well-established small animal practice in the heart of a beautiful market town. You’ll take ownership of an established clinic and lead it as a Partner within Medivet’s supported network model. Rather than launching independently, you’ll have the autonomy to shape your practice while benefiting from operational support, mentorship from fellow partners, and access to a regional emergency hub for out-of-hours cover.

This is a full-time permanent role where you’ll be the clinical and business leader of your clinic from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations at Medivet Cowbridge
• Build and develop a team aligned with your values and vision
• Deliver high-quality small animal clinical care using the practice’s two operating theatres, imaging facilities, dental x-ray, and laser equipment
• Drive the clinic’s growth and profitability as a Partner shareholder
• Maintain clinical standards and community relationships across your patient base
• Collaborate with the regional network of partners—sharing cases, expertise, and support

Requirements

• Qualified veterinary surgeon (UK registration)
• Ambition and drive to lead a business and grow a practice
• Passion for high-quality clinical care and client relationships
• Leadership capability and desire to mentor a team
• No prior business ownership experience required—clinical expertise and commitment are what matter
