About the Role

This is a partnership opportunity for a vet to join Medivet Southwark as a 2nd Partner and to help shape the future of Medivet Elephant Park, a brand-new Greenfield site due to open in November 2026. It is described as an ideal move for a vet early in their career who wants the support and mentorship of an experienced Partner.

As a Medivet Partner, you'll become a co-owner of the practice while continuing to focus on patient care, team leadership and serving the local community. The role is backed by commercial, operational and strategic support from Medivet, with the aim of helping the practice thrive long term.

Both practices are in central London locations. Medivet Southwark is within walking distance of London Bridge and Tower Bridge, while Medivet Elephant Park is about 7 minutes away and within walking distance of Waterloo.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a 2nd Partner across Medivet Southwark and the new Medivet Elephant Park site.
• Provide clinical leadership while continuing hands-on patient care.
• Help shape the future direction of the practice and its local community presence.
• Support the development of Medivet Elephant Park as a new growth opportunity.
• Lead and inspire the team while building a successful, sustainable practice.

Requirements

• You must be a vet.
• Ambition to lead a local practice and develop your own business is important.
• Previous leadership experience is not essential.
• You should be excited by the opportunity to build something of your own, either independently or with a colleague or friend.
• A mindset focused on making a difference, supporting a team and delivering compassionate care is key.

About the Practice

Medivet Southwark is described as a busy, well-established clinic with a loyal client base, two consulting rooms, a stable and experienced support team, and two veterinary colleagues. Medivet Elephant Park is a new site opening in November 2026, with three consulting rooms and dedicated dog and cat wards.

The current Partner at Southwark, Giuseppe, has led the practice for over five years and has a Certificate in Internal Medicine, with a strong interest in both medicine and surgery. Medivet is providing the wider Partnership model and support structure around these practices.
