PDSA Glasgow, Shamrock Street is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, collaborative team dedicated to providing vital veterinary care for pets whose owners are facing financial hardship. This is a part-time, permanent role working 4 days per week (30 hours total) with predictable finishing times and no out-of-hours or overnight commitments. You'll work across a busy hospital environment, supporting nurse consultations, inpatient care, dispensing, and theatre assistance including Schedule 3 surgery, but with the flexibility to discuss working patterns that suit your needs.
The role includes a 1 in 7-8 weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday, 8am-6pm, with paid time off in lieu), but weekday shifts are straightforward: typically 7.5 hours between 8:30am and 6pm, with any extra hours returned as time off. You'll be part of a close-knit team with varied clinical interests, giving you access to a wide pool of knowledge and case discussion.
