No out-of-hours or overnight duties; no Sunday work. Saturday rota participation included.
This is a full-time position working 30–40 hours per week, including a share of the Saturday rota but with no out-of-hours or Sunday commitments. You’ll be based at Rawtenstall Vets for Pets, a well-established small animal practice situated on a busy retail park with excellent local amenities—just 5 minutes from Rawtenstall town centre and around 25 minutes from Manchester city centre.
You’ll use your nursing skills to their full potential: admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering and discharging patients, and supporting the wider clinical team. The practice handles a diverse caseload—from routine consultations and surgeries to complex medical investigations and soft tissue procedures—with advanced imaging including ultrasound, digital radiography, and dental X-ray facilities. Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced RVN, there’s plenty of scope to develop clinical interests and get involved in rewarding cases every day.
This is a team that genuinely supports one another through clinical challenges and celebrates successes together. With a combined 20+ years of nursing experience across the team, you’ll be joining colleagues who understand the demands of the role and create space for both professional development and the occasional lunchtime laugh.
