This is a property and facilities management position, not a veterinary or animal care role. The Regional Building Surveyor sits within the RSPCA's Estates and Environment team, overseeing maintenance and project delivery across the charity's national property portfolio of animal centres, inspectorate offices, employee housing, and administrative hubs.
The role is home-based with frequent regional travel required, predominantly covering the Midlands. Working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to accommodate operational needs.
The RSPCA is a UK charity dedicated to animal welfare across England and Wales. The organisation operates 20 animal centres, 21 inspectorate offices, extensive employee housing, and administrative hubs, supported by the Estates and Environment team. This role sits within that support function rather than clinical or frontline animal care.
