Straid Veterinary Clinic is a welcoming community practice in Beaconsfield with over 100 years of trusted care. You'll join a supportive team as a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse, working 24 hours per week across a flexible rota designed around genuine work-life balance.
This is a position where your clinical skills matter and your wellbeing does too. The rota is structured with early shifts (8am to 4pm) for three weeks and late shifts (12.30pm to 7pm) for one week, Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8am to 12pm). Part-time shifts will differ from the full-time pattern. The practice is flexible with shift swaps and holiday cover, ensuring the team looks out for each other.
Straid Veterinary Clinic began in 1923 under Veterinary Surgeon Mr Hancocks MRCVS, originally serving horses and farm animals. Today it is a small animal practice with three partners, each with specialist interests. The practice is part of inspiring vet care, the UK's number one vet care provider, trusted with the care of over 2 million animals.
Located in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, the clinic combines local, independent roots with the support and resources of a larger care network. The team is values-led, focused on care, community, and continuous improvement.
