About the Role

This part-time position offers you the flexibility and work-life balance many vets are seeking. You’ll join Tottenham Hale Vets for Pets, conveniently situated within Tottenham Hale Retail Park with excellent public transport links to Central London and surrounding areas. The practice sees a broad, varied caseload of small animals and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and a full in-house laboratory.

You’ll work alongside a close-knit team of three vets, three RVNs, two student nurses, one VCA, and two receptionists. The practice owners, Cheryl and Ameena, both share a strong surgical interest—Cheryl recently completed her surgical certificate. This is a flexible rota role with weekend day shifts, but there are no overnight or out-of-hours responsibilities, allowing you to maintain genuine work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary small animal veterinary care across a varied caseload
• Work as a capable, independent clinician—you’ll be expected to manage sole charge periods within the rota
• Share weekend day shifts on a flexible schedule with the wider veterinary team
• Contribute to the practice’s collaborative, client-focused culture, building lasting relationships with patients and owners
• Utilise modern diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, digital X-ray, and in-house laboratory facilities

Requirements

• Qualified, registered veterinary surgeon with relevant UK experience
• Capable of working independently and managing sole charge responsibilities
• Approachable, enthusiastic, and caring approach to clinical work and client care
• Flexibility to cover a share of the weekend rota
