About the Role

This is your opportunity to take the next step in your nursing career as Deputy Head RVN at a small animal practice with real momentum. You'll work alongside the vets in a varied caseload, supported by a practice group that actively invests in its people. The practice has recently expanded its facilities and equipment. You'll be part of a close-knit team of 12 where everyone knows each other, everyone matters, and contributions are genuinely felt. With a choice of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts to suit your lifestyle, plus the guarantee that all Sundays are free, you can build the work-life balance that suits you. The practice operates Monday to Saturday, with all roles involving 1 in 3 Saturday cover only.

Beyond your immediate team, you'll have access to a vibrant social scene across the wider Vets for Pets Worcester group of over 40 people, including book club, movie club, craft club, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across theatre, consulting clinics, and general patient care
• Support the vets in delivering quality care tailored to each client's circumstances and budget
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and help shape the practice's continued growth
• Take on a deputy head role, supporting nursing standards and team development

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
• Confidence and experience in theatre, consulting clinics, or nursing care
• Pride in quality care and a genuine team player
• Passion for your own professional development
