Chippenham Vets for Pets is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly team. This is a first opinion role with a broad nursing remit, and it offers the chance to step into a position where you can mentor colleagues while helping to shape the future of the practice.
The rota is clearly set out, with 35 hours per week across 4 days, no out of hours or on-call duties, and a shared 1 in 4 Saturday rota. The practice also offers flexible working hours and shift patterns where possible, supporting a more balanced working week.
The surgery is described as modern and well equipped, with digital and dental X ray, ultrasound, VGels and multiparameter monitoring systems. You will also be supported by Client Care Advisors, reception staff, a Practice Manager and an established nursing team of six, including four RVNs and two VCAs.
The role is based at Chippenham Vets for Pets in Wiltshire. The practice is ideally located close to the M4 and the local train station, and it has a large on-site car park with free parking for staff and clients.
It is an established training practice with a modern, well equipped surgery and a nursing team made up of four RVNs and two VCAs, supported by reception staff, Client Care Advisors and a Practice Manager. The practice also works with visiting orthopaedic and ultrasonography specialists.
