This is an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join a brand-new practice in Port Talbot and play a key part in building the client care team from the start. The role is full time, or part time, and includes 1 in 2 Saturday mornings.
You will be welcoming clients, supporting the wider practice team, and helping create a smooth and professional front-of-house experience as the practice grows. The setting is purpose-built and modern, with facilities designed around both patients and colleagues.
The practice is a brand-new, purpose-built site in Port Talbot and is part of Vets for Pets. It has been designed with separate dog and cat waiting areas, 4 consult rooms, a shared X-ray room, a dedicated prep area and operating theatre, a dentistry suite, an in-house lab, and planned digital X-ray and ultrasound.
Other facilities include 8 cat kennels, 8 dog kennels, 2 walk-in kennels, a separate isolation ward, and a spacious colleague area with shower facilities. The practice also has capacity to welcome visiting specialists, helping more advanced care stay in-house.
