This is a rewarding full or part-time position (30-40 hours per week) offering genuine flexibility: work 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm across 4 days if you prefer, with just one Saturday in three and no out-of-hours cover. You'll enjoy a genuine work-life balance that's rare in veterinary practice.
You'll be joining a close-knit, locally-owned small animal practice in Epsom, Surrey, ideally situated within a 7-minute walk of the train station. The team shares a real passion for clinical excellence and community care, and there's genuine potential to progress toward practice ownership within Vets for Pets' partnership model if that's a long-term aspiration for you.
Epsom Vets4Pets was established in 2016 by Lenesa Govender, the lead vet and practice owner, who brings 18 years of veterinary experience, including senior roles. The practice is built on a commitment to learning, clinical excellence, and a caring, compassionate team culture where staff genuinely enjoy coming to work. The practice is locally owned and operated with full clinical and operational autonomy.
The facility is equipped to a high standard with digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, growing orthopaedic equipment, separate dog and cat wards, 3 consultation rooms, a theatre, and dedicated office space. There's ample onsite parking and the location is ideally positioned near Epsom town centre.
