This is a Veterinary Surgeon position in a brand-new, fast-growing small animal practice in Poole Holes Bay. The practice has recently completed a large extension, and the role offers 30 to 40 hours per week with Saturday work only on a 1 in 5 rota.
The day is structured around 20-minute consults, blocks of surgery, admin time and a 1 hour paid lunch break. The team also holds a daily huddle to share thoughts, ideas and reflections, with a clear focus on wellbeing, inclusive working and good practice culture.
The role is with Poole Holes Bay Vets for Pets, a small animal practice in Poole, Dorset. Practice owner Dan Makin opened the practice in 2017 and is an Advanced Practitioner in small animal medicine.
The team includes 24 colleagues, with nurses, student nurses, ANAs, client care advisors, lead nurses, a head receptionist, a Practice Operations Manager and a Mental Health First Aider. The practice is brand new and includes 2 theatres, a separate dental room with dental x-ray, a pharmacy, air conditioning and a downstairs PTS suite.
