Receptionist - Sunday

About the Role

You'll work every Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00 at Vets Now Tunbridge Wells, one of the UK's leading emergency and critical care providers. As the first point of contact for pet owners arriving in crisis, you'll combine genuine compassion with professional efficiency to make a real difference when pets need it most.

This role offers genuine flexibility: you're working a single scheduled day per week plus bank holidays, making it ideal if you're looking to balance work with other commitments, studies, or a second job.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients arriving at the clinic during emergencies and manage their first impression of Vets Now's care
• Handle incoming calls and triage enquiries, providing calm support to worried pet owners
• Process financial transactions accurately and professionally
• Relay critical patient and client information to the veterinary team
• Perform administrative tasks including patient records and scheduling

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and composure under pressure
• Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
• Professional telephone manner and customer service experience (preferred)
• Flexibility to work bank holidays as required
• No prior veterinary experience needed; full training provided
