Out-of-hours service: 1:2 weekend commitment, evening and night weekday shifts, day and night weekend shifts. Average 3 shifts per week. Full-time 40 hours average per week.
Vets Now Bridgwater is launching a new out-of-hours emergency and critical care service, operating within the host practice IVC Blake Vets. This full-time position offers an average of 40 hours per week across 3 shifts, including a 1:2 weekend commitment plus a fair share of bank holidays. You'll work evening and night shifts during the week, plus day and night weekend shifts.
Working in this ECC setting will develop and sharpen your veterinary skills in a welcoming environment equipped with top-tier facilities including dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy. You'll benefit from strong clinical support within the team and dedicated central support functions, allowing you to focus on the cases in front of you. Bridgwater offers excellent recreational attractions and accessible transport links as your base.

Vets Now operates emergency and critical care services across the UK. The Bridgwater location is a brand-new out-of-hours facility launching within IVC Blake Vets, a host practice partnership. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment and staffed by a dedicated ECC team with access to central support services.
