About the Role

At Grange Hill Veterinary Centre in Lichfield, you'll join a compassionate and experienced team with a varied caseload split between surgery and medicine. The practice also offers temporary accommodation in a self-contained one-bedroom flat next door, if needed.

This is a full-time, permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon role where you'll work collaboratively across the wider team and continue developing your clinical skills and interests. The practice is set in the countryside on the outskirts of Lichfield, with good-sized free parking, a separate staff kitchen area and outside seating for breaks.

Requirements

• A Veterinary degree and registration, or eligibility to register, with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning and openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for excellent patient and client care.

About the Practice

Grange Hill Veterinary Centre is a purpose built small animal practice offering consultations for cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles and birds. It is a single site practice with an operating theatre, separate dog, cat and rabbit wards, an isolation kennel, laboratory, X ray room and three consulting rooms.

The practice says it has a small team of vets, nurses and receptionists working together on one site, with services including endoscopy, ultrasound, blood pressure, ECG and rapid blood sample analysis. It is also a Veterinary Nurse Training Centre and has out of hours support via Pool House Veterinary Hospital.
