New Graduate Vet

About the Role

This New Graduate Vet role offers a full time, permanent 40 hour week split between the main hospital in Middlesbrough and the branch practice in Hartlepool. Shifts can be based at either site, and the position is due to start in the coming months.

You will join a friendly multi-disciplinary team of 6 vets, 10 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 5 receptionists and 4 PCA support staff. There are no weekend duties or OOH as standard because a dedicated OOH team is based at the Middlesbrough hospital, although weekend and night shifts are available if you have an interest in ECC.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across the main hospital in Middlesbrough and the branch practice in Hartlepool.
• Contribute to the clinical care of patients and clients across both sites.
• Take part in a busy practice environment with opportunities to develop your own interests.
• Use the practice's clinical tools and facilities, including digital x-ray, dental radiography, Doppler ultrasound with echocardiography capability, in house laboratory, multiparameter monitoring, blood pressure monitoring and endoscopy.
• Engage with the Graduate Programme, including CPD days and mentor support.

Requirements

• You must be a New Graduate Vet.
• Interest in ECC is welcomed if you would like to undertake some weekend and night shifts.
• Ability to work as part of a team across two sites.
