County Vet Group Sandbach is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in this full-time role (or part-time if preferred). You'll work 30 to 40 hours per week across 3 to 4 days, with no Sundays or bank holidays required. The practice maintains a family atmosphere where patients and staff wellbeing are central to everything they do, and you'll be supported by a Clinical Director with 16 years' experience, a Practice Manager, and two Senior Vets.
Based in Sandbach, a historic market town in the heart of Cheshire, you'll have access to a varied caseload that supports genuine professional development. The team brings mixed skill levels, creating opportunities for everyone to shine. The practice uses laparoscopic equipment, brand new digital x-ray, dental x-ray with processor, and offers acupuncture services. You'll work alongside an experienced nursing team and vets with certificates in medicine and dentistry. Visiting specialists cover orthopaedic, soft tissue, and cardiology cases, and you'll have access to the group's Clinical Hub Network and Vet Oracle telemedicine service for case support and mentoring.
All clinical interests are welcome. The practice is keen to support anyone pursuing or holding a surgical certificate, and relocation packages are available for those moving to the area.
