Night vet role; shift 6pm to 8am. 1-week-on, 2-weeks-off rota.
This is a dedicated night vet position at Hook Norton Veterinary Group, a proudly independent small animal practice delivering 24-hour care. You'll work sole charge overnight, handling everything from inpatient monitoring to emergency cases, with a shift pattern that runs 6pm to 8am. The standout benefit here is the rota: 1 week on, 2 weeks off. That's genuine space to recharge between your shifts, not the typical 1-in-4 grind.
You'll be part of a small, experienced night team and will work with full clinical freedom. The practice serves its own clients exclusively, which means manageable caseloads and real continuity of care rather than chaotic after-hours overflow. Located in a rural area, this role suits vets who enjoy independent decision-making and take pride in maintaining clear clinical notes and smooth handovers for the day team.
