Veterinary Care Assistant

About the Role

This is a 32-hour part-time position based at Medivet Catton, a well-equipped small animal practice in the heart of Norwich. You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team that prides itself on creating a positive working environment where every team member is valued. The role includes a share of the 1 in 4 Saturday morning rotation, so flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client care, supporting surgeries and procedures while maintaining all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
• Provide hands-on patient care to pets, including walking, toileting, and feeding
• Work collaboratively with the Medivet Catton team, contributing to a supportive clinical environment

Requirements

• Passion for animal care and working with pets
• Strong client care skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• Ability to prioritise and work within a busy team
• Must be over 18 years old (role requirements under Health and Safety Executive guidelines)
