This is a full-time permanent position working across New Priory Vets’ main hospital site in central Brighton, with cover shifts at two smaller satellite locations. You’ll be part of a team delivering comprehensive general practice services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound, and dentistry. With referral specialists on site at the Brighton hospital, you’ll have excellent learning opportunities and support for developing your skills in complex cases.
The role offers a structured 37.5-hour week over four days, including weekend and bank holiday rotations. Located just five minutes’ walk from Brighton train station and twenty minutes from the city centre, you’ll enjoy easy commuting with countryside and coastal activities nearby—perfect if you value a vibrant urban setting balanced with natural outdoor spaces.
New Priory Vets has been serving the Brighton and surrounding area for almost 40 years. The flagship Brighton hospital, located just off the A23, is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as meeting Hospital Standard—the highest level of accreditation available to UK veterinary practices. The practice also operates a coastal clinic in Peacehaven, extending advanced general practice services to clients on the East Sussex coast.
